I am co-founder of Muine Bheag Arts, an artist-run organisation based in Co. Carlow which hosts a programme of exhibitions, workshops and events in the public realm. The programme embeds itself into the soil of the community, cultivating growth from the roots up. Artists and collaborators are invited to respond to the town of Muine Bheag as a site for artistic production, research and collaboration.
Muine Bheag Arts aims to promote contemporary art outside of the city context, to collaborate with the local community through multi-disciplinary arts activities and to support emerging and established artists by commissioning new works of art.
