Creative Places Bagenasltown, 2023
I made a series of flags in collaboration with primary school students from Queen of the Universe NS, St. Mary’s NS and St. Brigid’s NS.
The flags were designed in response to a programme of workshops with the students which explored creative place-making. Motifs like the skateboard, rainbow and plane reflect how the young people would like to reimagine their town. An exhibition of works by the students was presented in Bagenalstown Library as part of Cruinniú na nÓg.
